Hand Building Workshops

All hand building workshops will be split up into 2 sessions. This workshop is for all ages.

During the first session , I’ll introduce you to the basics of ceramics and the different modeling techniques : pinching, coiling and slab building (keep in mind, this is not a wheel throwing workshop) You will be able to make a few small objects or one larger object with the clay provided.

The second session is focused on decorating your piece. You will learn about glazes, painting, applying illustrations and the firing process. I will take care of the final glazing and your pieces will be ready for picked-up in one to two weeks. (Shipping is available upon request)

All materials, tools, drinks & snacks are included in the workshop, just bring yourself and if you feel like it, a few images to be inspired by. This workshop is BYOB friendly. Working with clay can get a bit messy, so please bring an apron or wear some old clothes. 

All workshops are held at my art studio located in Kansas City, MO. I will send out more info by email prior to the workshop. 

IMPORTANT :

-To receive refund, cancellations must be made 72 hrs prior to the workshop.

-Please note that the studio is located on the second floor, and there is no elevator access. Please consider this when registering for a workshop. If you have any concerns or require assistance, feel free to reach out prior to your visit.
